The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Alleman Pioneers (Rock Island, IL) and the visiting Geneseo Maple Leafs (Geneseo, IL), observed Alleman's basketball team overwhelm Geneseo by a score of 50-26.

The Pioneers (2-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Newman Central Catholic (Sterling, IL). The Comets come into the non-league challenge with a 7-8 record.

In their next game, the Maple Leafs encounter the Dixon Dukes & Duchesses (Dixon, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 6. Geneseo will attempt to improve on its 0-12 season record.
