Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Bangor routs Pen Argyl

In Saturday's league contest, the host Bangor Slaters basketball team scored a big 60-29 triumph over the Pen Argyl Green Knights.

The Slaters (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Northwestern Lehigh (New Tripoli, PA). The Tigers go into the non-league contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Northwestern Lehigh was trounced by Whitehall (Whitehall, PA), 60-54, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Green Knights confront the Catasauqua Rough Riders (Catasauqua, PA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 3. Pen Argyl will attempt to better on its 0-7 season record. The Rough Riders go into the contest with a 2-4 record after their 79-72 non-league win over Bethlehem Christian (Easton, PA).
