The Bay Springs Bulldogs basketball team scored 59 points and limited the host Petal Panthers to 54 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Bulldogs now possess a 9-4 record. They play next when they travel to Newton for a 2A Region 5 game on Friday, January 3.
With the loss, Petal falls to 6-11 on the campaign. The Panthers host Columbia (Columbia, MS) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league game on Monday, December 30. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 8-7. Columbia won 78-39 in their recent non-league game against Enterprise (Brookhaven, MS)
