The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Caledonia Warriors (Caledonia, MN) and the host West Salem Panthers (West Salem, WI), observed Caledonia's basketball team overcome West Salem by a score of 77-66.

The Warriors (8-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Plainview-Elgin-Millville (Elgin, MN). The Bulldogs come into the AA Section 1 challenge with a 4-5 record. In their last challenge, Plainview-Elgin-Millville defeated Prairie du Chien (Prairie du Chien, WI), 61-31, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Arcadia Raiders (Arcadia, WI) in a Coulee challenge, on Friday, January 3. West Salem will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 59-39 non-league win over Stanley-Boyd (Stanley, WI).
