In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Edwards County Lions basketball team scored a good 43-33 win over the Carmi-White County Bulldogs.
The Lions (14-4) will now prepare for their contest against Webber (Bluford, IL). The Trojans come into the non-league contest with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, Webber defeated Wayne City (Wayne City, IL), 65-52, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Evansville Day Eagles (Evansville, IN) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Carmi-White County will attempt to better on its 6-7 season record. The Eagles come into the contest with a 1-8 record after their 80-41 non-league loss to Larue County (Hodgenville, KY).
