The Coahoma County Red Panthers basketball team scored 54 points and limited the visiting North Side Gators to 41 in the Red Panthers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Red Panthers now have a 16-4 record. They play next when they host North Panola for a 3A Region 2 game on Friday, January 3. Coahoma County will confront a Cougars team coming off a 58-44 non-league loss to Alcorn Central (Glen, MS). The Cougars record now stands at 5-10.
