The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Hull-Daisetta Bobcats (Daisetta, TX) and the host Danbury Panthers (Danbury, TX), observed Hull-Daisetta's basketball team overcome Danbury by a margin of 42-33.

The Bobcats (9-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Leggett (Leggett, TX). The Pirates come into the 1A Region IV District 28 challenge with a 5-12 record. In their last challenge, Leggett defeated Chester (Chester, TX), 60-53, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Victoria Gators HomeSchool Gators (Victoria, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 3. Danbury will attempt to better on its 14-9 season record.
