The May Tigers basketball team scored 69 points and limited the host De Leon Bearcats to 32 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Tigers now have a 17-1 record. They play next when they travel to Gustine for a 1A Region III District 21 game on Tuesday, December 31. May will confront a Tigers team coming off a 56-30 league loss to Sidney (Sidney, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 1-4.

With the loss, De Leon falls to 5-8 on the campaign. The Bearcats host Poolville (Poolville, TX) to confront the Monarchs in a 2A Region II District 11 game on Tuesday, January 7. The Monarchs go into the game with a record of 13-8.
