South Carolina High School Basketball - Scott's Branch knocks off East Clarendon

In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Scott's Branch Eagles basketball team scored a good 53-45 win over the East Clarendon Wolverines.

The Eagles (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against Bethune-Bowman (Orangeburg, SC). The Mohawks come into the A Region 5 contest with a 6-5 record.

In their next game, the Wolverines battle the Carvers Bay Bears (Hemingway, SC) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 2. East Clarendon will attempt to better on its 5-5 season record. The Bears come into the contest with a 5-8 record after their 78-49 non-league loss to Lake Norman Christian (Davidson, NC).
