North Carolina High School Basketball - East Davidson knocks off West Davidson

In Saturday's non-league contest, the host East Davidson Golden Eagles basketball team scored a good 52-42 win over the West Davidson Dragons.
The Golden Eagles (2-11) will now prepare for their contest against Salisbury (Salisbury, NC). The Hornets come into the 1A/2A Central Carolina contest with a 9-3 record. In their last contest, Salisbury defeated Carson (China Grove, NC), 71-63, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Dragons battle the Lexington Yellowjackets (Lexington, NC) in a 1A/2A Central Carolina contest, on Friday, January 3. West Davidson will attempt to better on its 1-10 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the contest with a 4-6 record after their 81-67 non-league loss to Oak Grove (Winston-Salem, NC).
