Lewis County Minutemen (Weston, WV) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Scott Skyhawks (Madison, WV), 83-55 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Lewis County advances its record to 3-4 on the year. The Minutemen travel to Frankfort (Ridgeley, WV) to face the Falcons in a non-league match on Saturday, January 4. The Falcons enter the match with a record of 2-2. Frankfort lost 70-58 in their recent non-league match against Lincoln (Shinnston, WV)

The Skyhawks now own a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Logan for a Freelance match on Friday, January 3. Scott will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 65-55 non-league win over Chapmanville Regional (Chapmanville, WV). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-0.
