Martins Mill Mustangs (Ben Wheeler, TX) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Lipan Indians (Lipan, TX), 39-36 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Martins Mill advances its record to 19-1 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Alba-Golden (Alba, TX) to face the Panthers in a 2A Region III District 19 match on Tuesday, December 31. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 2-11. Alba-Golden lost 64-62 in their recent non-league match against Saltillo (Saltillo, TX)

The Indians now own a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gordon for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 31.
