Nebraska High School Basketball - Maywood/Hayes Center nips Paxton

In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Maywood/Hayes Center Wolves basketball team scored a close 42-39 triumph over the Paxton Tigers.

The Wolves (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against Garden County (Oshkosh, NE). The Eagles go into the non-league contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Garden County nipped Bayard (Bayard, NE), 64-47, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the Garden County Eagles (Oshkosh, NE) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 31. Paxton will attempt to better on its 5-2 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 4-2 record after their 64-47 non-league win over Bayard (Bayard, NE).
