The Monroeville Eagles basketball team scored 51 points and limited the host Western Reserve Roughriders to 41 in the Eagles league triumph on Saturday.

The Eagles now possess a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to South Central for a Firelands game on Friday, January 3. Monroeville will confront a Trojans team coming off a 80-49 league loss to Crestview (Ashland, OH). The Trojans record now stands at 2-5.

With the loss, Western Reserve falls to 2-5 on the campaign. The Roughriders travel to St. Paul (Norwalk, OH) to confront the Flyers in a Firelands game on Friday, January 3. The Flyers go into the game with a record of 5-3.
