The Pineville Mountain Lions basketball team scored 57 points and limited the visiting Oneida Baptist Institute Mountaineers to 50 in the Mountain Lions non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Mountain Lions now have a 5-4 record. They play next when they host Red Bird for a non-league game on Thursday, January 2. Pineville will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 86-47 non-league loss to Cumberland Gap (Cumberland Gap, TN). The Cardinals record now stands at 0-8.

With the loss, Oneida Baptist Institute falls to 5-5 on the campaign. The Mountaineers host Cumberland Christian Home Educators (Somerset, KY) to confront the Hawks in a non-league game on Thursday, January 2. The Hawks go into the game with a record of 12-6. Cumberland Christian Home Educators won 57-52 in their recent non-league game against Casey County (Liberty, KY)
