Next, the Diamondbacks clash with the Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest Javelinas (Pharr, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 31 test, on Tuesday, December 31. Pioneer will attempt to upgrade on its 10-13 season record. The Javelinas come into the test with a 2-11 record after their 79-39 league loss to Rowe (McAllen, TX).

The Warriors (15-6) will now prepare for their test against Vela (Edinburg, TX). The Sabercats come into the 5A Region IV District 31 test with a 21-4 record.
