The Bowdon Red Devils (Bowdon, GA) basketball edged the host Haralson County Rebels (Tallapoosa, GA), 40-36 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Red Devils now possess a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Temple for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 4. Bowdon will play a Tigers team coming off a 55-44 non-league loss to South Paulding (Douglasville, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 9-3.
With the loss, Haralson County falls to 2-8 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Armuchee (Rome, GA) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Monday, January 6. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 8-4.
