Camarillo Scorpions (Camarillo, CA) followers were in high spirits Saturday as they saw their basketball team beat the visiting Buena Bulldogs (Ventura, CA), 58-42 in a non-league bout.

The Scorpions now possess a 8-5 record. They play next when they travel to Rio Mesa for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 28. Camarillo will play a Spartans team coming off a 66-54 non-league loss to Canyon (Canyon Country, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 3-6.

With the loss, Buena falls to 12-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to El Camino Real (Woodland Hills, CA) to play the Royals in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 3. The Royals come into the challenge with a record of 6-9. El Camino Real won 55-40 in their recent non-league challenge against Notre Dame (SO) (Sherman Oaks, CA)
