Ohio High School Basketball - Chippewa routs Waynedale

In Saturday's league contest, the visiting Chippewa Chipps basketball team scored a big 45-23 triumph over the Waynedale Golden Bears.
The Chipps (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Highland (Medina, OH). The Hornets go into the non-league contest with a 10-0 record. In their last contest, Highland smashed Whitmer (Toledo, OH), 63-54, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Golden Bears battle the Smithville Smithies (Smithville, OH) in a Wayne County contest, on Thursday, January 2. Waynedale will attempt to better on its 5-6 season record. The Smithies go into the contest with a 8-0 record after their 53-44 league win over Norwayne (Creston, OH).
