The Warren-Alvarado-Oslo Ponies basketball team scored 62 points and limited the visiting East Grand Forks Green Wave to 60 in the Ponies non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Ponies now have a 9-1 record. They play next when they host Polk County West [Climax/Fisher] for a A Section 8 game on Monday, January 6.

With the loss, East Grand Forks falls to 4-5 on the campaign. The Green wave travel to Pelican Rapids (Pelican Rapids, MN) to confront the Vikings in a AA Section 8 game on Friday, January 3. The Vikings go into the game with a record of 8-1. Pelican Rapids won 65-63 in their recent non-league game against Underwood (Underwood, MN)
