The Spartans enter the match with a record of 8-7. Samuell lost 49-13 in their recent league match against Wilson (Dallas, TX)

The Vikings now own a 13-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Haltom for a 6A Region I District 8 match on Tuesday, December 31. Lamar will face a Buffalos squad coming off a 42-21 non-league loss to Granbury (Granbury, TX). The Buffalos record now stands at 7-12.
