Madison Bulldogs (Madison, ME) supporters left the game happy Sunday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Old Orchard Beach Seagulls (Old Orchard Beach, ME), 56-31 in a league match.

With the victory, Madison advances its record to 3-2 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Maranacook (Readfield, ME) to meet the Black Bears in a non-league match on Thursday, January 2. The Black Bears enter the match with a record of 6-2. Maranacook lost 37-32 in their recent league match against Maine Central Institute (Pittsfield, ME)

The Seagulls now own a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Monmouth Academy for a C South match on Friday, January 3. Old Orchard Beach will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 58-34 non-league loss to Spruce Mountain (Jay, ME). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-5.
