The Royals (9-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Grapevine (Grapevine, TX). The Mustangs come into the 5A Region I District 6 challenge with a 10-13 record.

In their next game, the Warriors encounter the Grand Prairie Gophers (Grand Prairie, TX) in a 6A Region I District 8 challenge, on Tuesday, December 31. Martin will attempt to improve on its 7-13 season record. The Gophers come into the challenge with a 0-16 record after their 59-9 league loss to Bowie (Arlington, TX).
