California High School Basketball - Saratoga trounced by Mountain View

December 28, 2024: Saratoga, CA 95070

Mountain View Spartans (Mountain View, CA) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Saratoga Falcons (Saratoga, CA), 47-22 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Mountain View advances its record to 6-2 on the year. The Spartans travel to Santa Teresa (San Jose, CA) to face the Saints in a non-league match on Monday, December 30. The Saints enter the match with a record of 8-3. Santa Teresa won 60-32 in their recent non-league match against Del Mar (San Jose, CA)

The Falcons now own a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wilcox for a Santa Clara Valley - El Camino match on Saturday, January 4. Saratoga will face a Chargers squad coming off a 52-38 non-league loss to Santa Teresa (San Jose, CA). The Chargers record now stands at 4-2.
