The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the St. Edmund Fighting Blue Jays (Eunice, LA) and the visiting Sacred Heart Trojans (Ville Platte, LA), observed St. Edmund's basketball team overcome Sacred Heart by a margin of 69-61.

The Fighting Blue Jays (11-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Slaughter Community Charter (Slaughter, LA). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 6-4 record.

In their next game, the Trojans battle the Teurlings Catholic Rebels (Lafayette, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Sacred Heart will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record.
