The Canyon Cowboys soccer squad scored 1 points and held the visiting Kennedy Cougars to 0 in the Cowboys non-league victory on Saturday.

The Cowboys now hold a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Valencia for a Foothill bout on Tuesday, January 7. Canyon will play a Vikings squad coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Dos Pueblos (Goleta, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 5-4.

With the loss, Kennedy moves to 6-3 on the year. The Cougars travel to Bishop Alemany (Mission Hills, CA) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Monday, December 30. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 5-0. Bishop Alemany won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Taft (Woodland Hills, CA)
