The Cotter/Hope Lutheran (Winona, MN) basketball crushed the visiting Pine Island Panthers (Pine Island, MN), 78-50 in Wednesday's league test.
The (5-2) will now prepare for their test against Worthington (Worthington, MN). The Trojans go into the non-league test with a 5-1 record. In their last test, Worthington walloped Luverne (Luverne, MN), 50-45, in a non-league test.
The Panthers now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Lewiston-Altura for a AA Section 1 test on Thursday, December 30. Pine Island will encounter a Cardinals squad coming off a 45-37 non-league loss to Waseca (Waseca, MN). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-7.
