The Anna Coyotes basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting Aubrey Chaparrals to 47 in the Coyotes non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Coyotes now sport a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lincoln for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 3. Anna will battle a Tigers team coming off a 67-66 non-league win over Panther Creek (Frisco, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 5-13.

The Chaparrals (16-4) will now prepare for their contest against Lake Worth (Lake Worth, TX). The Bullfrogs enter the non-league contest with a 11-8 record. In their last contest, Lake Worth triumphed over Venus (Venus, TX), 53-31, in a non-league contest.
