Arroyo Grande Eagles (Arroyo Grande, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Cabrillo Conquistadores (Lompoc, CA), 47-32 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Arroyo Grande upgrades its record to 7-5 on the season. The Eagles travel to Atascadero (Atascadero, CA) to play the Greyhounds in a non-league bout on Friday, December 30. The Greyhounds go into the bout with a record of 8-6. Atascadero won 78-44 in their recent non-league bout against Bishop Union (Bishop, CA)

Next up, the Conquistadores play the St. Joseph Knights (Santa Maria, CA) in a Mountain bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Cabrillo will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 8-3 record after their 55-53 non-league loss to Arbor View (Las Vegas, NV).
