With the victory, Hackettstown improves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Newton (Newton, NJ) to confront the Braves in a Northwest Jersey - Freedom challenge on Wednesday, January 4. The Braves come into the challenge with a record of 2-3. Newton lost 65-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Sparta (Sparta, NJ)

Next up, the Mountaineers confront the South Hunterdon Eagles (Lambertville, NJ) in a Skyland - Valley challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Bernards will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 56-53 non-league win over Bristol (Bristol, PA).
