The Linton-Stockton Miners (Linton, IN) basketball knocked off the visiting Bloomfield Cardinals (Bloomfield, IN), 56-44 in Thursday's league test.

The Miners (10-1) will now prepare for their test against Evansville Bosse (Evansville, IN). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 5-3 record.

The Cardinals now own a 9-2 record. They play next when they host Evansville Christian for a non-league test on Friday, January 6. Bloomfield will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 69-45 non-league win over Paoli (Paoli, IN). The Eagles record now stands at 6-4.
