Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Columbia Coyotes (Burbank, WA) and the visiting Brewster Bears (Brewster, WA), saw Columbia's basketball squad knock off Brewster by a count of 74-56.

With the victory, Columbia upgrades its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Coyotes host Overlake (Redmond, WA) to play the Owls in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 30. The Owls come into the challenge with a record of 5-2.

Next up, the Bears play the Mark Morris Monarchs (Longview, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 30. Brewster will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Monarchs come into the challenge with a 7-1 record after their 72-71 non-league win over Selah (Selah, WA).
