North Carolina High School Basketball - Wake Christian Academy thwarted by Clayton

The Wake Christian Academy Bulldogs basketball team (Raleigh, NC), dropped 55-45 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Clayton Comets (Clayton, NC)

The Comets now possess a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fuquay - Varina for a 4A Conference 26 battle on Tuesday, January 3. Clayton will battle a Bengals team coming off a 61-53 league win over Willow Spring (Fuquay-Varina, NC). The Bengals record now stands at 5-5.

The Bulldogs (10-6) will now prepare for their battle against Arendell Parrott Academy (Kinston, NC). The Patriots come into the non-league battle with a 2-6 record. In their last battle, Arendell Parrott Academy beat St. David's (Raleigh, NC), 45-37, in a non-league battle.
