The Cuyahoga Heights Red Wolves basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Independence Blue Devils to 38 in the Red Wolves league triumph on Thursday.

The Red Wolves now sport a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Crestwood for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 7.

The Blue Devils (0-7) will now prepare for their contest against Lake Ridge Academy (North Ridgeville, OH). The Royals enter the non-league contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Lake Ridge Academy was defeated by Central Christian (Kidron, OH), 79-35, in a non-league contest.
