Doniphan Dons (Doniphan, MO) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Kennett Indians (Kennett, MO), 75-59 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Doniphan upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Dons travel to Dexter (Dexter, MO) to clash with the Bearcats in a non-league bout on Friday, December 30. The Bearcats go into the bout with a record of 4-2. Dexter won 89-42 in their recent non-league bout against Woodland (Marble Hill, MO)

Next up, the Indians clash with the New Madrid County Central Eagles (New Madrid, MO) in a Southeast Missouri bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Kennett will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 50-49 non-league loss to Cardinal Ritter College Prep (St. Louis, MO).
