The Triton Regional Vikings basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Dracut Middies to 59 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Vikings now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Amesbury for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 10.

The Middies (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against Andover (Andover, MA). The Golden Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Andover was nudged by Beverly (Beverly, MA), 73-60, in a non-league contest.
