Wheaton North Falcons (Wheaton, IL) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Glenbard West Hilltoppers (Glen Ellyn, IL), 48-40 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Wheaton North upgrades its record to 8-6 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Geneva (Geneva, IL) to play the Vikings in a DuKane bout on Friday, January 6. The Vikings come into the bout with a record of 11-3.

Next up, the Hilltoppers play the Glenbrook South Titans (Glenview, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Glenbard West will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record. The Titans come into the bout with a 12-4 record after their 66-57 non-league win over Lemont (Lemont, IL).
