California High School Basketball - Gonzales tipped by Marina

The Marina Mariners basketball team scored 51 points and held the host Gonzales Spartans to 44 in the Mariners non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Mariners now sport a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pacific Grove for a non-league contest on Friday, December 30. Marina will meet a Breakers team coming off a 73-46 non-league win over Gonzales (Gonzales, CA). The Breakers record now stands at 4-5.

The Spartans (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against North Salinas (Salinas, CA). The Vikings enter the PCAL - Cypress contest with a 2-7 record.
