With the victory, Handley upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Valley (Valley, AL) to play the Rams in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 4. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 14-0. Valley won 77-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Carver (Columbus, GA)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Wadley Bulldogs (Wadley, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. LaFayette will attempt to upgrade on its 9-4 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 3-11 record after their 59-27 non-league loss to Shelby County (Columbiana, AL).
