The Hermann Bearcats basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting South Callaway Bulldogs to 49 in the Bearcats non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Bearcats now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Washington for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 3. Hermann will meet a Bluejays team coming off a 65-51 league loss to Fort Zumwalt South (St. Peters, MO). The Bluejays record now stands at 2-3.

The Bulldogs (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against North Callaway (Kingdom City, MO). The Thunderbirds enter the non-league contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, North Callaway was routed by Hallsville (Hallsville, MO), 68-43, in a non-league contest.
