With the win, Verona upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Wildcats host Madison Memorial (Madison, WI) to clash with the Spartans in a Big Eight bout on Thursday, January 5. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 4-4. Madison Memorial lost 65-47 in their recent non-league bout against Lowndes (Valdosta, GA)

Next up, the Cougars clash with the Madison West Regents (Madison, WI) in a Big Eight bout, on Thursday, January 5. Janesville Craig will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Regents go into the bout with a 1-6 record after their 79-38 non-league loss to Milwaukee King (Milwaukee, WI).
