Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Mountain Home Bombers (Mountain Home, AR) and the visiting Paragould Rams (Paragould, AR), saw Mountain Home's basketball squad wallop Paragould by a count of 72-45.

With the victory, Mountain Home upgrades its record to 6-6 on the campaign. The Bombers travel to Siloam Springs (Siloam Springs, AR) to play the Panthers in a 5A West challenge on Saturday, January 7. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 3-4. Siloam Springs won 50-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Rogers (Rogers, AR)

Next up, the Rams play the Searcy Lions (Searcy, AR) in a 5A East challenge, on Friday, January 6. Paragould will attempt to upgrade on its 5-11 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 8-4 record after their 54-50 non-league win over Harding Academy (Searcy, AR).
