The Sterling Golden Warriors basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting Mt. Zion Braves to 56 in the Golden Warriors non-league victory on Thursday.

The Golden Warriors now sport a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Geneseo for a Western Big 6 contest on Friday, January 6.

The Braves (14-2) will now prepare for their contest against St. Thomas More (Champaign, IL). The Sabers come into the non-league contest with a 9-5 record. In their last contest, St. Thomas More edged Calvary Christian Academy (Normal, IL), 53-32, in a non-league contest.
