The North Fremont Huskies (Ashton, ID) basketball nipped the host West Side Pirates (Dayton, ID), 51-48 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Huskies (1-3) will now prepare for their test against Sugar-Salem (Sugar City, ID). The Diggers go into the non-league test with a 6-1 record. In their last test, Sugar-Salem got by Stansbury (Stansbury Park, UT), 68-62, in a non-league test.
The Pirates now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they host Firth for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 4. West Side will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 52-49 non-league loss to Bear Lake (Montpelier, ID). The Cougars record now stands at 6-3.
