Zephyrhills Bulldogs (Zephyrhills, FL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host River Ridge Royal Knights (New Port Richey, FL), 46-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Zephyrhills upgrades its record to 6-6 on the season. The Bulldogs host Pasco (Dade City, FL) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 5. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 2-7. Pasco won 53-37 in their recent non-league bout against Clearwater Central Catholic (Clearwater, FL)

Next up, the Royal Knights play the Tampa Bay Tech Titans (Tampa, FL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 3. River Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record. The Titans go into the bout with a 6-8 record after their 63-58 non-league loss to Lake Region (Eagle Lake, FL).
