The La Salle College Explorers basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Holy Ghost Prep Firebirds to 33 in the Explorers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Explorers now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic for a contest on Thursday, January 5. La Salle College will meet a Friars/Pandas team coming off a 36-24 non-league win over Haverford School (Haverford, PA). The Friars/Pandas record now stands at 3-2.

The Firebirds (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Archbishop Wood (Warminster, PA). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Archbishop Wood was outscored by Father Judge (Philadelphia, PA), 84-60, in a league contest.
