Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Moshannon Valley Black Knights/Damsels (Houtzdale, PA) and the visiting West Branch Warriors (Morrisdale, PA), saw Moshannon Valley's basketball squad overcome West Branch by a tally of 34-22.

With the victory, Moshannon Valley improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Black Knights/Damsels travel to Curwensville (Curwensville, PA) to play the Golden Tide in a challenge on Friday, January 20. The Golden Tide come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Warriors play the Claysburg-Kimmel Bulldogs (Claysburg, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 30. West Branch will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record.
