With the victory, Whitesboro upgrades its record to 14-8 on the campaign. The Bearcats travel to Boyd (Boyd, TX) to play the Yellowjackets in a 3A Region II District 10 challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a record of 3-6. Boyd lost 74-27 in their recent non-league challenge against Iowa Park (Iowa Park, TX)

Next up, the Panthers play the Howe Bulldogs (Howe, TX) in a 3A Region II District 11 challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Bells will attempt to upgrade on its 13-9 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 3-11 record after their 39-26 non-league loss to Muenster (Muenster, TX).
