The Maryvale Panthers basketball team scored 41 points and restricted the host Browne Bruins to 30 in the Panthers non-league victory on Thursday.
The Panthers now sport a 2-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Browne for a 6A Metro contest on Tuesday, January 10.
The Bruins (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against Vista Grande (Casa Grande, AZ). The Spartans come into the non-league contest with a 4-12 record. In their last contest, Vista Grande prevailed over Tempe (Tempe, AZ), 42-24, in a non-league contest.
