The Lewiston Blue Devils basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the visiting Deering Rams to 35 in the Blue Devils league win on Thursday.

With the win, Lewiston upgrades its record to 1-4 on the season. The Blue Devils host Hampden (Hampden, ME) to play the Broncos in a AA North bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Broncos go into the bout with a record of 4-3. Hampden lost 57-32 in their recent league bout against Cheverus (Portland, ME)

Next up, the Rams play the Edward Little Red Eddies (Auburn, ME) in a AA North bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Deering will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Red Eddies go into the bout with a 6-6 record after their 53-44 league win over Portland (Portland, ME).
